Sometimes I’m just planning out a bigger art project, mapping out ideas before they become something more. Other times, it’s my way of getting emotions out that I can’t express any other way—just me, my pencil, and the paper. I also love using sketches to test new mediums or a new skill. Each sketch feels like a little adventure, whether it’s a quick doodle or the start of something more. It’s a space where I can explore, experiment, and play.
